Savaş Türkay is an accomplished executive with over 36 years of international experience in tourism, real estate, and investment management. He began his professional journey in Switzerland, the birthplace of modern hospitality, where he worked with several prestigious five-star and Leading Hotels of the World properties, including the Hotel Savoy Baur en Ville Zurich and the Grand Hotel Dolder Zurich.

This early Swiss foundation — built on precision, excellence, and the uncompromising pursuit of quality — continues to define Türkay’s leadership philosophy today. Over the years, he has held senior management positions across Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia, shaping luxury hospitality and investment ventures with a global strategic outlook.

A dual Swiss–Turkish citizen, Türkay embodies a multicultural leadership approach that unites strategic vision, innovation, and cultural intelligence. Throughout his distinguished career, he has served as General Manager and senior executive at world-renowned luxury brands including Kempinski Hotel The Dome Antalya, D-Hotel Maris (Leading Hotels of the World), Divan Bodrum (Koç Holding), Sheraton Grand Samsun, Sheraton Bishkek, Mirada Exclusive Bodrum, Cactus Hotels & Resorts, and DoubleTree by Hilton Cappadocia. His expertise covers hotel pre-openings, investment planning, financial strategy, and operational excellence — consistently achieving outstanding guest satisfaction and exceptional financial performance across all managed properties.

Türkay holds advanced academic credentials, including a Master Certificate in Hospitality Management from Cornell University, a B.Sc. from York University, an MBA from Universidad Empresarial de Costa Rica, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration. Additionally, he graduated from the Swiss School of Hotel Management in Zurich, combining academic depth with hands-on leadership experience to foster innovation and sustainable growth within the global hospitality and investment sectors.

Leveraging both academic expertise and extensive field experience, Türkay specializes in strategic investment planning, brand development, revenue and yield management, operational leadership, and asset performance optimization. He is fluent in Turkish, English and German, allowing him to build and manage multinational teams and partnerships seamlessly.

Today, as the Founder and Managing Partner of Sevérae International Real Estate & Investment, Türkay leads global initiatives in Luxury Real Estate Investment Advisory, Asset Management, and Hospitality Management & Consulting, providing international investors with transparent, high-value, and sustainable opportunities.
